Pandemic Amplifier Community I used news articles as a motif. the headings pertaining to the outbreak and the events that preceded the spread of the virus. the topics are used to display the occurrences in our lives during this time that affect us greatly. my artwork is typically an outlet for things or events that stress me out and i take my thoughts and collectively visualize them. this piece in particular correlates to. The covid collective seeks to inform decision making on some of the most pressing covid 19 related development challenges, and to address emerging social science questions and needs arising in relation to the pandemic. As festivals were cancelled or people were afraid of participating in mass gatherings during the covid 19 pandemic, the well being effects of festival participation were missed. In this paper, we contribute to debates that consider the relationship between community and resilience through exploring the meaning that the idea of community has taken in attempts to build resilience in the midst of covid 19.
