Our main activities include carrying out policy and advocacy dialogues, building consensus, providing support to european businesses about trade and investment, and organising key events to foster opportunities for european businesses in thailand. On 31 march 2026, ms. somrudee poopornanake, acting director general of the department of european affairs, had a discussion with mrs. paranee adulyapichet, president of european association for business and commerce (eabc) thailand, to promote closer trade and investment cooperation between the thai and european private sectors. also in attendance were h.e. mrs. luisa ragher, ambassador of. Eabc provides a point of exchange and coordination of efforts to improve business conditions and opportunities for european businesses with active working groups that cover a broad range of policy areas and sectoral aspects of european commercial and industrial activity in thailand.
