In 1998, with a model provided by the texas parks and wildlife department, otf pioneered the first public education curriculum for secondary schools in texas called outdoor trails. outdoor trails changed and grew to become what is known today as outdoor adventures k 12.

More than 200 mps students experience week long outdoor adventures with project success! both in the classroom and out in the wilderness, students reflect on the ongoing questions, “who are you, who do you want to be, and how can project success help you navigate those questions?”. During fall and spring seasons project success coordinates with our middle school principals and teachers to host outdoor adventure field trips to local state parks and green spaces.
