For the past year, karuna shechen has worked to develop educational, economic and agricultural programs in the ruby valley which are designed to meet specific local challenges. Partnered in collaboration with friends of mulanje orphans (fomo) to develop a gym and football field. built a fitness and martial arts training center, including an upgrade to their previously defunct computer classroom. donated punching bags and other martial arts equipment.
