Tamarack Families Tamarack Day Camp Tamarack day camp’s summer camp for 3rd 4th graders (8 10 year olds) provides an exciting and well rounded summer experience designed to keep kids active, engaged, and having fun. our program is packed with a variety of activities that help children develop their skills in sports, arts, and outdoor adventures, all while making new friends and building confidence. whether they are playing. We teach and train our own instructors every year and our swim techniques are based not only on the american red cross but over 25 years of practical experience in getting children to learn how to swim. visit our website to learn more about the tamarack aquatic program. Campers arrive at tamarack between 8:30am and 8:45am, and leave at 4:10pm daily. we offer a 5 full day program for all campers, as well as a 3 full day and 5 half day options for campers ages. By popular demand, tamarak has a coed teen group as part of our summer programming. campers who are entering 6th, 7th and 8th grades can now continue their summers at tamarak with four 2 week sessions of new activities and excursions: all with that tamarak spirit. This program has been successful in teaching teens the concepts of teamwork, leadership, and responsibility. this program includes leadership training both by tamarack staff and those from the coordinating organization and significant hiking and camping during their days out.
