Garden To Table The garden to table program supports over 200 classrooms at 18 schools in the boulder valley school district, bringing more than 6,300 students out to their school garden for hands on learning, connection to nature, and the wonder of growing and eating fresh produce!. From the garden to the table is grounded in working within low income, opportunity, and access communities. our purpose is to promote the health and physical, academic, and creative well being of children, families, and adults.

We invite you to join us in making gardens an integral part of every school community! you can get involved by making a donation, volunteering with us, or signing up to receive our newsletter which contains gardening tips, educational resources and volunteer opportunities. Providing meaningful garden based learning activities for an entire school takes some challenging calendar wrangling. (it’s part of what makes our program a success!). Garden to table trust was established as a charity in 2008 to develop and introduce a curriculum linked food education programme in new zealand schools. the trust established its first three garden to table schools in auckland in 2009, with all three still running the programme today. The garden to table program provides valuable life skills to our youth. from planting seeds, to watching plants grow, and harvesting crops, we utilize these resources provided by our hands and mother nature to bring food fresh from the garden, to the kitchen, to the table. Our gardening programs can take many forms, including family programs, after school programs, and virtual courses for aspiring gardeners. these programs are often free and interactive, and can include growing edible plants and flowers. With 13 sites and more than 350 plots, garden to table® is a sustainable approach to eliminating hunger and promotes improved access to fresh garden produce for families in need of food support through 1) adoptable plots—garden plots, seeds, plants, and tools are available for food shelf clients at no….
