Our February Recap Capital Credit Union Thank you to everyone who attended our february chapter meeting and supported our food drive for hacap. your generosity helps strengthen the communities we serve and reflects the credit union philosophy of people helping people. February 2024 was another busy month for us at capital credit union. we had 730 loans issued in february, nearing to €4.6 million in loans for the month. We expanded to seven football clubs and 38 golf clubs across scotland, broadening our reach and introducing capital credit union to new communities. collaboration with legal, green energy, and community organisations deepened our social impact and supported our commitment to financial inclusion. In 2025, capital credit union delivered another strong year of financial performance. we ended the year with $890 million in assets, $755 million in deposits, and $677 million in loans.

In 2025, capital credit union delivered another strong year of financial performance. we ended the year with $890 million in assets, $755 million in deposits, and $677 million in loans. Ccu’s results include a record month of lending in february this year, when it issued almost £1.1m of loans; an increase of 36% on the same month in 2023. it now has almost £35m of members’ savings on deposit. Capital credit union (ccu) has recorded its highest ever monthly intake of new members in its 35 year history, thanks to formal partnerships with scotland’s sporting community and the greener energy supply chain. the edinburgh headquartered ethical lender attracted 522 new members in february.
