Our 2022 Year In Review Local Progress The local progress 2022 year in review highlights the organization's growth and impact over the past decade. the network, comprising over 1,300 local elected officials, focuses on advancing racial and economic justice through collaborative governance and strategic campaigns. The local progress impact lab brings together local leaders, partners, and experts to build the knowledge, skills, and leadership needed to advance racial and economic justice at the local level. Closing out another year 2022 marked huge shifts both in the local progress network and in the larger world. we marked 10 years as an organization and launched two public facing brands, local progress and local progress impact lab. In july 2022, all schools resumed face to face classes after almost two years of closure, during which learning outcomes were affected and inequalities magnified. evidence pointed to an alarming deterioration in reading and mathematics over this period.
