Ou Reading Schools Building A Culture Of Reading Cpd The ou rfp team’s extensive work, research and expertise in this area has led to the development of our highly acclaimed reading schools programme: enriching your reading culture which is evidence informed, practical and impactful. Now in its fourth year, the highly successful reading schools programme: building a culture of reading is aligned to the national curriculum, the reading framework (dfe, 2021), and the education endowment foundation (eef) whole school implementation process.
Reading Schools Ou reading schools: building a culture of reading is a year long cpd programme designed to help schools develop and implement an effective, whole school reading for pleasure strategy for primary and ks3 pupils. Our programme responds to the challenge of motivating young readers, enabling teachers to enrich their knowledge and practice and make a difference to attitudes and attainment. This unique, year long programme, led by professor teresa cremin and secondary ou rfp mentors kelly ashley, bennie kara, and rachel ayres, enables staff teams to revolutionize the reading. Our team is delighted to welcome schools from jersey as they begin their ou reading schools programme journey with us. primary & secondary colleagues will be joining our online launch to begin exploring how reading for pleasure can grow strategically across communities.
