Onegoal essentials focuses on empowering a broader range of educators within school buildings to provide effective postsecondary advising. this model provides educators and students with essential content knowledge, practical tools, and technology to facilitate meaningful conversations with students.

Onegoal Essentials Onegoal Our approach: we’re a postsecondary access and success organization working with schools and districts to transform postsecondary advising and support through our onegoal program, onegoal. Onegoal starts as a credit bearing class during fellows’ junior and senior years of high school. then, when fellows enter college, program directors bridge the transition from high school to college by providing one on one intensive coaching remotely through the first day of fellows’ sophomore year of college. Participating students have an average 2.87 gpa and a 840 sat score when they begin. 96% of onegoal fellows identify as people of color, 91% are eligible for free reduced lunch, and 72% are the first in their families to attend a postsecondary program.
