Oer16 Open Culture Interactive Content Filters track strategic and reputational advantages of openness converging or diverging cultures of openness hacking, making and sharing innovative approaches to opening up cultural heritage collections for education. This years oer conference: #oer16 open culture was held in edinburgh, which was great for the interactive content team. now in its 7th year the 2 day conference was a very full and diverse one with people attending from all over the world.
Oer16 Open Culture Interactive Content The main activities i’ll be concentrating on over the coming months are planning next year’s oer16 conference, revitalising the open scotland initiative, promoting the scottish open education declaration, and continuing to participate in the open policy network. The 7th open educational resources conference, oer16: open culture, was held at the university of edinburgh in april 2016. the conference was chaired by dr melissa highton, director of learning, teaching and web services, and lorna campbell, oer service manager, at the university of edinburgh.
