Oer Grant Impacts Libraries Usu In 2017, the college of humanities and social sciences partnered with usu libraries and academic & instructional services to create a grant opportunity for the creation, adaptation, and adoption of oer within the college. below is a snapshot of the grant's impact. Usu libraries' oer grant program supports faculty in developing or integrating open materials into their courses. we offer resources and guidance to help you take full advantage of open education's benefits: lower costs, greater access, and flexible teaching.

Usu Libraries Usu Utah state university has been a leader in advancing open educational resources (oer), promoting access, affordability, and innovation in teaching and learning through grants and technical support for students and faculty. The impact is already measurable: in 2024 alone, the usu library welcomed 319,000 visitors—a diverse group including local students, teachers, community members, and independent researchers—who utilized the free reading rooms and internet connected facilities.
