Oceanside 70 3 Race Report Ironrman 70.3 oceanside was the third stop for the ironman pro series. as the second 70.3 of the pro series and the first in the us, north american athletes were on hand to try to earn some prize money and put some points on the board. At mile 7 i followed my race plan and matched my speed for the rest of the run. the only dark moment i had was at mile 11 when my legs started to get really tired and i felt pretty queasy. Huge thanks to hank whalen for the video footage and editing!! i raced ironman 70.3 oceanside and finished 5th in one of the most competitive pro fields this season. in this race report, i break. Review final finish placings for the race including swim, bike and run splits, and overall finish time. maximum points are awarded to the winner, with every finisher thereafter receiving points based on a diminishing 1 point per second.
