I built this giant nutcracker from scratch using old boxes, painted card and some other details with the help of @fiskars powercut scissors, utility knives, and circle cutter—all the tools that made this massive diy project easier than i expected!. First step was priming it gray and then came countless hours of painting. it was such a fun (but huge!) project turning it into one that is totally “us” with lace, vintage looking gems, felt holly and jadeite green.
