Nsea Certificate Programs College Of The Environment Western The college of the environment’s environmental sciences and environmental studies departments have collaborated with the nooksack salmon enhancement association (nsea) to create two new certificate programs to help prepare students for careers in salmon recovery. Students accepted into this certificate program will have guaranteed paid internship with the nooksack salmon enhancement association (nsea) of whatcom county. students will participate in public outreach, education, stream restoration, or other nsea project as directed by nsea staff. The salmon enhancement: community education certificate provides the training and experience needed for college of the environment students to apply a variety of skills toward community education and engagement in environment and sustainability.
