Contractor overbury – part of morgan sindall group – commenced work on the scheme in august 2022 under an nec4 engineering and construction contraction (ecc) option a, with multi disciplinary consultancy pick everard acting as nec project manager and supervisor. As part of the scape framework, the city council enlisted overbury to complete the vision. nottingham city council embarked on a transformative initiative to create a new central library that would not only serve the local community but also attract visitors from afar.
