A lot of effort obviously went into this. that juggernaut missile launcher truck does not go unnoticed, the incoming rocket, the exploding tower building, what i am trying to say is that you have the makings of something much better here, but as for the human element, the pay off is all a letdown. I don’t think nikita was ever a great fit for this network and its core audience. it certainly didn’t deserve though the send off during the holiday dead zone, but i and a bunch of dedicated fans will stick it through no matter when it airs. With only a single episode remaining before the series finale “pay off” offers nikita the victory she’s been working towards for years. president spencer (michelle nolden) is recovered, nikita’s name is cleared, jones is in custody, and amanda is dead. Though i was quite prepared for nikita to end up dead or in prison or on the run, she and her friends got their happy endings, open ended but hopeful as they embrace their new lives in the real.
