Liheap services are provided to eligible households to meet their immediate emergency needs. liheap can be used for past due utility bills and or deposits. some clients may also be eligible for a home energy credit. this program is available to individuals living in baker, clay, duval, flagler, putnam, and st. johns counties.
Nfcaa Nfcaa makes direct payments to utility companies when a family lacks the funds and is at risk of having their electricity disconnected. individuals seeking utility assistance must use nfcaa’s automated appointment line to schedule an appointment, provided liheap funds are available. The program is called low income home energy assistance program (liheap) and helps with emergency home energy needs. the nfcaa pays directly the utility company whenever individuals families do not have the financial means and are about to have their electricity disconnected.
