New Social Sciences Faculty 2024 25 16 new faculty members are joining us in the 2024 25 academic year! we are thrilled to welcome our new faculty members and look forward to the many ways they will contribute to the school of social sciences as researchers, thought leaders and teachers who will guide and inspire our students. Research interests: social mapping, political ecology, historical and political geography, indigenous peasant ontologies and epistemologies, latin american geographies, and videography.

Lauren savit is a visiting assistant professor in the women’s, gender, and sexuality studies program. she has expertise in feminist media studies, queer theory, and feminist pedagogy.
