Never Broken Filmfreeway Murugan, a 14 year old rural indian boy getting a vacation assignment of writing an essay about the internet from school. but school never taught him about that topic. with his family situation while he is trying to go for an assignment he encounters something which is unknown to him. I directed this movie, broken, to make a comedy out of the deepest sorrow. the main character, stan d., has lost something that had been keeping him in his group of friends, and now he's lost and will never belong again. Jillian found that these activities served her well as she made her directing debut with the short film broken, which she penned to highlight the barriers families face in getting help for loved ones with untreated mental illness.
