Strategies for achieving conservation of biodiversity in the sea have been proposed by norse & gerber (1993) for global issues, hiscock (1997) for the northeast atlantic, and john (1994) for. Ecologically functional landscape. this second strategy and action plan prepared by the ministry of forests and soil conservation will continue to guide conservation in the tal from 2015 to 2025 by addressing persisting and emerging threats to ensure socio ecological integrity of the tal. Our continuous efort towards species conservation aims at conserving keystone species with greater focus on undertaking research of less studied species and formulating conservation plans to facilitate the government of nepal’s (gon) conservation initiatives.
