What Is Nccr Robotics Nccr Robotics Through this website, we would like to establish two way communication about robotics in switzerland and abroad with researchers, students, teachers, industries, and the general public. The research programme of nccr robotics has been articulated around three grand challenges for future intelligent robots that can improve the quality of life: wearable robotics, rescue robotics, and educational robotics. From 2010 to 2022, the national centre of competence in research (nccr) robotics played a key role in developing the swiss robotics scene, by developing a new generation of robots that can work side by side with humans, fighting disabilities, facing emergencies and transforming education. In addition to working closely with school teachers and developing resources for young kids, we worked to strengthen and increase the number of university students with a training in robotics, to promote the advancement of young researchers from phd to tenured faculty positions.

Swiss Robotics Days Nccr Robotics From 2010 to 2022, the national centre of competence in research (nccr) robotics played a key role in developing the swiss robotics scene, by developing a new generation of robots that can work side by side with humans, fighting disabilities, facing emergencies and transforming education. In “rescue robotics”, the nccr developed highly innovative technologies for search and rescue operations in emergency situations. the research portfolio also included “educational robots” that support the training of a new generation of scientists and engineers. As the two grand challenges of nccr robotics in wearable and mobile robotics show the application of robots in society as a whole, the main goals of developing robots for education is to study how robots can improve the quality of education and give students a good basis in science and technology.
