My Reading Year 2023 I’ll try to do something like this every year from now on! history, biography, and creative non fiction or narrative non fiction were the most read categories by a landslide, and for a good reason, because they are the best genre of books ever. here is my year in reading for 2023. Completely nicking the idea from austin kleon, right down to the post title and format. here are all the books i managed to read in 2023. i don't think i'm going to do a break down of each book. i'll still be writing this post in summer.
My Reading Year 2023 I spent the last week of 2023 on vacation and didn’t have time to publish a summary post of my reading year, so here it is now. i had a mixed year, reading wise. That is how i came to read over thirty children’s ya books in 2023, mostly novels, because reading good books is essential to writing them, and because i enjoyed them in and of themselves. Thanks to the currently reading podcast patreon, i have been tracking my reading in an incredible spreadsheet for the last two years and it produces some fancy charts and graphs to tell the story of what i read this year. i read over 37,000 pages this year!. A summary of my reading through the year, including my top five picks and some hopefully interesting statistics.
My Reading Year 2023 Thanks to the currently reading podcast patreon, i have been tracking my reading in an incredible spreadsheet for the last two years and it produces some fancy charts and graphs to tell the story of what i read this year. i read over 37,000 pages this year!. A summary of my reading through the year, including my top five picks and some hopefully interesting statistics. I decided to re read it in the summer of 2023, just to see if it stood up to my memories. i did not have the same reading experience as i did the first time, but it is objectively a great book and we wouldn’t have dark academia as we know it today without it. I read 75 books in 2023, my high water mark for the most reading in a year. books have always been like a warm blanket, and i needed that comfort during a most challenging year. 2023 was a busy reading year for me. i got into the triple digits, discovered some great cozy reads, and lured another unsuspecting person into the world of books. I read 35 and two half books in 2023, and for various reasons this year’s reading contains more detective novels than usual. the topics and style range widely, so there’s bound to be something for everyone in this list.
