Made my first cake ever, (u feral houseplant adorable little pumpkin cake) as a birthday gift for my mom. i had trouble getting the icing consistency right for decorating but it tasted delicious!. Lol surprise doll cake for my daughters 5th birthday , this is my first "professional" cake 😊. This might be op's first time baking a cake, but they're a seasoned baker, pastries, pies, brownies etc. so the knowledge is there even if it is something brand new.
