Mobilise Pedal Pedal set out to improve communication and collaboration between academics and policymakers, so that policies for babies and young children in the uk could be better informed by the evidence. the team developed a new, six month long programme for small groups of civil servants and local leaders. The mobilise programme was developed by the university of cambridge’s centre for research on play in education, development and learning (pedal). it took a fresh, practical approach to bridging the gap between social research and the work of policy actors.
Mobilise Pedal In january 2024 the centre for research on play in education, development and learning (pedal) at the university of cambridge launched a pilot initiative entitled ‘ mobilise ’ which provided a new approach to integrating academic research and early years policy.
