Moaa Moaa S 2023 Stakeholder S Report In 2023, we focused on connecting with leaders positioned to directly influence our legislative advocacy agenda. as we enter the second year of the 118th congress, we continue to push for the major richard star act, which, despite widespread support, is stalled due to funding challenges. Moaa’s present state is strong and growing. but there are real challenges ahead, and it’s imperative we take proactive steps today to ensure moaa’s long term success. in 2023, i identified six key focus areas. Each year, the moaa scholarship fund and the moaa foundation, release an annual report in may, which highlights the past year’s accomplishments, thanks donors for their generous support, and encourages potential donors to support the charities’ important work. Innovation has always been at the heart of moaa, and the moaa scholarship fund and the moaa foundation were both created to tackle the unique problems the greater military and uniformed services face. our ability to adapt, evolve, and find creative solutions to challenges is what sets us apart.

By championing critical legislative priorities and expanding vital resources for servicemembers, veterans, their families, and surviving spouses, moaa continued to create meaningful change and live out its enduring commitment to never stop serving. Moaa charities, comprised of the moaa scholarship fund and the moaa foundation, are charitable subsidiaries of moaa. with over 85 years of combined action, our charities are constantly evolving to ensure we deliver high impact programs, resources, and assistance to the nation’s heroes. As we look to build on 2022’s successes into 2023 and beyond, moaa is grateful for the support and leadership of our board of directors, our professional headquarters team, and our national network of dedicated chapters, councils, and surviving spouses. Moaa 2023 was held both in person and virtually and consisted of four rounds: speed round, accuracy round, team round, and gunga bowl. every problem on each round was solvable and computationally feasible with middle school mathematical techniques; no calculators or computational aids were necessary for any problem.
