Midrc was recognized for its collaboration to create a curated, diverse commons for medical imaging ai research and translation. all of midrc’s procedures, data models, data harmonization, annotation, and data management strategies are publicly available.

Midrc is a multi institutional collaborative initiative driven by the medical imaging community that was initiated in late summer 2020 to help combat the global covid 19 health emergency. midrc is an ai ready research dataset, (standarized, aggregated, and curated for machine learning research).
