Microphone Placement Farplay Face the front of the mic toward the musician’s mouth (the front usually has a logo and, sometimes, a volume knob or indicator light). put the speakers behind the mic. putting speakers off to the side also works. don’t put any speaker in front of the mic. place the speakers far from the mic. In farplay, a latency slider is used to adjust the amount of jitter buffering to obtain audio with less latency (but with more noise) or audio that's clearer (but with higher latency).
Microphone Placement Farplay You'll want a mic that captures the voice as accurately as possible, with no artificial presence peak, no boosting of bass, and without rejecting room sound. we recommend you use an omnidirectional condenser. In farplay’s devices subpanel, make sure the microphone: and headphones: are both set to the audio equipment you want to use. if the audio device you want to select is missing from a pull down menu, disconnect that audio device from your computer and then reconnect the device. In the devices subpanel, set both the microphone and headphones to your headset. on my windows pc, the appropriate selections are “headset microphone” and “headphones”, but the exact names might be a little different on your pc. If you’re using a windows pc and there’s no physical gain knob or slider for your mic (typical for mics built into pcs and mics on headsets), follow the steps below.
