Developing Teacher Feedback Literacy Through Self Study Exploring This article reports on a study that aims to develop student feedback literacy through a series of training activities. Moving beyond conceptualizing student feedback literacy and describing feedback literacy components needed and manifested by students, yu and liu (2021) proposed a framework for developing student feedback literacy in the academic writing context. Four features of student feedback literacy are proposed as a framework for student feedback literacy: appreciating feedback; making judgments; managing affect; and taking action. Drawing on science and technology studies, and in particular on popkewitz’s concept of fabrication, we explore how research has invented feedback literacy as a way of reframing feedback processes through the idea of individual skill development.
