Memory Lab Home We investigate these questions using neuroimaging, cognitive and neuropsychological methods, working with healthy young and older adults as well as people with memory difficulties due to depression and dementia. Research programs in our laboratory use electrophysiological (eeg & erp), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fmri) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (tms) methods to investigate a variety of aspects of human memory.

Memory Lab Network Capture, understand, revise, remember forever. capture notes in seconds, understand concepts with your ai study companion, and revise with spaced repetition and recall exercises — memory lab helps you retain knowledge and beat the forgetting curve. Texas computational memory lab research focuses on analyzing the neural activity that gives rise to successful memories and facilitates memory retrieval. Our lab continues to focus on understanding object retrieval and word finding, but now includes treatment programs. It begins here.

Memorylab Home Our lab continues to focus on understanding object retrieval and word finding, but now includes treatment programs. It begins here. A big focus at the memory lab is to discover how we remember the past in rich detail. the hippocampus is crucial to this process: more vividly detailed memories are associated with higher levels of hippocampal activity and hippocampal damage results in reduced episodic detail. We analyze patterns of oscillatory activity and the neural networks that give rise to successful memories and facilitate memory retrieval to identify the parietal regions that are engaged by human memory. She joined the lab in fall 2025 to explore how memory is stored and retrieved in both healthy and clinical populations. outside the lab, she is active in campus organizations, volunteers as a medical assistant, and serves as an advocate with darrc.
