Mars Attacks Red Sonja Review
Read Online Mars Attacks Red Sonja Comic Issue 4 Writer jay stephens and artist fran strukan are joined by colorist miroslav mrva in an opening of a whole new adventure for the she devil with a sword. the fusion of campy, retro sci fi with traditional sword and sorcery fantasy shows considerable promise. This was a great twist on the typical “mars attacks earth” stories. i was expecting to see another fleet of martians come to earth in an attempt to conquer it again but instead we get a zombie story and i’m all for it. as red sonja says at this issue’s climax: “mars attacks! from beyond the grave!”.
Mars Attacks Red Sonja 1 Preview First Comics News Red sonja attacks mars #1 is a jumbled mish mash that’s about as random and as confusing as you’d expect after reading the synopsis above. fran strukan’s art style is, to be generous, rough. strukan’s line work is adequate but by no means clean. An sci fi, action, fantasy romp that neither adds nor subtracts from the red sonja or mars attacks universe. the plot is action heavy, and the artwork is bland, but this book is still a fun, light read.

An sci fi, action, fantasy romp that neither adds nor subtracts from the red sonja or mars attacks universe. the plot is action heavy, and the artwork is bland, but this book is still a fun, light read. There’s not a whole lot going on beneath the surface of the series, but it’s a fun adventure to the angry, red planet with one of the more prominent warrior heroes in modern comics. Red sonja attacks mars #3 is a weird, creative red sonja adventure when the hero runs into foreboding islands, mysterious caves, and frightening monsters. that said, jay stephens’s story is woefully lacking anything that resembles an attack on mars. Yet this one was fun and despite adding the cheesy of mars attacks, this is a red sonja story with a red sonja world. i’m impressed with how well the concepts meshed together. 'red sonja attacks mars' #1 wonderfully blends heroic fantasy, science fiction and horror as it cleverly pits red sonja against martian zombies. read full review.
