Make Create Innovate Makerspace Design Creative Programme Delivery We offer training and guidance to organisations interested in developing the skills needed to set up school or community makerspace, as well as the skills to deliver hands on creative tech activities with young people and adults in the makerspace. The fingal maker space is run by creator in residence kate delaney from make create innovate. kate is supported by rhona byrne, andrew carson and catrina carrigan. the team has developed a range of inclusive workshops aimed at all ages and backgrounds.

With backgrounds in music, science, film, visual art and social justice, across a vast range of formal and informal education settings, the team at make create innovate bring 50 years into designing and delivering education experiences at the highest level in ireland and europe. We will work with you to set up your own library or community makerspace. we will provide training so that you have the knowledge and skills to deliver hands on engaging steam, stem and maker education workshops and courses confidently. Our programmes at fingal makerspace, one of dublin’s leading makerspaces, are designed to bring learners on a journey of self discovery, building confidence and knowledge through engaging steam and maker education activities, built around problem solving, collaboration, creativity and technology.

Our programmes at fingal makerspace, one of dublin’s leading makerspaces, are designed to bring learners on a journey of self discovery, building confidence and knowledge through engaging steam and maker education activities, built around problem solving, collaboration, creativity and technology. We will work with you to set up your own school, library or community makerspace. we will provide training so that you have the knowledge and skills to deliver hands on engaging maker education workshops and courses confidently. Our courses can be delivered both in person at your organisation, or online using a blended learning model. course length and structure can be adjusted to work best with your timetable. Make (make.mit.edu) is the central hub for makerspaces, shops, maker communities, and making on the massachusetts institute of technology (mit) campus. we maintain a directory of mit makerspaces, maker training credentials, and a list of equipment on mit campus. This programme is led by make create innovate ceo, kate delaney, and it will run from 2021 – 2022. the project involves the establishment of a community makerspace at blanchardstown library as well as the design and delivery of a creative programme of activities for the fingal community.
