Made This Without Any Tutorials R Blender Always satisfying once you're able to start making stuff without following tutorials. i've made a few things without, but i'm still definitely clinging to some tutorials here and there, haha. I've done about 4 5 tutorials on modeling in blender in total. and i made this safe model entirely by myself, without the help of tutorials. that is, i consider it to be the first model i made on my own, but this is not my first experience in blender.

Without trying, you will never make mistakes that you can learn from. everybody here has tried something new within blender at some point, and i guarantee we have all failed miserably at it. it's how we use those mistakes to learn that defines us. Last friday i started on this goblet and restricted myself from watching any tutorials (i wanted to see how much knowledge was actually in my head). i had some problems with the baking of the normal map, but i think it turned out ok.
