Lunch Procedures Edison Elementary School Each day your child has the option of going home, bringing a cold lunch or receiving a hot lunch. each child will be asked to bring a note from their parent or guardian stating that the student will be leaving the building for lunch. students should give that note to their teachers. At our elementary schools, the future begins with a strong foundation in learning. we focus on building essential early literacy and math skills, while fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
Assessment Edison Elementary School I have read and understand the policies outlined in the edison elementary school parent handbook for the 2025 2026 school year. i will discuss these expectations with my child and support the school's efforts to provide a safe and positive learning environment. We also believe that parent support at home with homework and practice is important to a child's school success and that teachers' utilization of research based teaching practices will engage all students to achieve their personal best. Food is allowed only in designated eating areas. to ensure students eat calmly, there will be no playing during the first 20 minutes of each grade level’s lunch time. no glass containers of any kind are allowed in school. if you wish to pack a lunch or snack, please do not include food high in sugar content, candy, or soda. As a student i will be responsible for the following: coming to school every day on time, prepared to do my best. completing and turning in all assignments on time, including homework, to the best of my ability. reading or being read to at least 20 minutes per day, every day.
