3rd Strike Lost Epic Review #jrpg lost epic is a side scrolling rpg with soulsborne inspiration, in other words, it is a tough game, perhaps at first not so much, but down the line ther. To me it feels very "dark souls for people who don't like dark souls" which is perfect for me. the story's pretty forgettable, but the exploration and gameplay make up for it imo. it's not perfect, the combat is a little jank as others have said but it's not so much that it breaks the game. I tried for quite a long time to get through it, but i was hardly ever able to play for very long in one sitting, and i’d constantly find myself distracted during those sessions, until finally, i decided that this must be a sign and i should factor this lack of engagement into my review of the game.
