On "regular" length putters - my personal experience is that the Accra shaft was the best blend of price/performance for my Link.1. It feels way more "sensitive" to distance than the steel shaft, which I found very hard to lag. At $100 it felt like a reasonable trade off. Any LAB putter comparisons with actual data? Equally important, lAB takes it a step farther with their "zero torque" fitting.
And I am starting to see more tour pros using LAB putters. I would disagree with anyone saying this is a "fad". It's important to note that, center shafted, oversized mallet, face balanced/zero torque is here to stay. As far as independent reviews using a robot to track all the aspects zero torque, I agree.
