Clip Problems Kdenlive Help Kde Discuss Hi! i am experiencing probels with kdenlive 23.08.5 on a ubunbu 24.04 desktop. i have installed it with apt install kdenlive. i get no error msg, and i can not start it from the command line (says “$ bash: snap bin kdenlive: no such file or directory”. anyone got ideas on what to check or fix?. I updated via snap to the latest version. i think i was just on the previous patch before (25.04.2) and it was working fine. but now it crashes at startup. kdenlive gives me an option to clear the config on a 2nd attempt, but doing so doesn’t fix the issue. After upgrading my debian system, kdenlive started crashing on startup. i was able to reproduce the issue on a version built from source and tracked it down to a null pointer being passed to xdisplaystring (the x windows display parameter). I installed and ran kdenlive version 25.04.0. i added some clips to project bin. when i click on one of the clips the program crashes and closes. i have also tried the daily builds versions and the same problem occurs with them.
