Kansas Forestry Association Homepage Provides a network for woodland owners, natural resource professionals, forestry industry and scientists to share experiences and research based information on the management of woodlands, windbreaks, wildlife and related resources. We work with landowners, communities, rural fire districts, and partners across kansas to conserve natural resources, support healthy forests, and manage wildfire risk. Established in 2009 the kansas forestry association (kfa) is a not for profit organization that was formed when members of the kansas tree farm program and the kansas chapter of the walnut council merged into one governing board to represent both organizations. Kfa proudly sponsors and helps organize field days throughout the year, offering hands on, outdoor learning experiences focused on caring for our natural resources.
