So after trying out display fusion with no better luck, i found virtual display manager. sadly it costs 35 dollars but so far it's the only software i've found that lets me split the screen up into actual virtual monitors so that if i fullscreen a video in any software it only fills the virtual monitor up. Currently you cannot set exact resolution with fancyzones but they've already acknowledged that it will be introduced in the future on github. the text file editing is if you need specific resolution or ratios.
