One of the south west's biggest celebrations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans plus (lgbtq ) communities, and one of the biggest free pride events in the country, will take place on saturday 11th may with a return of the march through the city centre followed by some exciting events. Exeter pride starts with a large march through the city centre starting at the monkey suit on sidwell street and ending in northernhay gardens off of queen street. there are performances across two stages in northernhay gardens and a large marketplace full of local traders and community groups. We have some old faces and some new that bring with them a wealth of experience and expertise to keep exeter pride growing. we’re already planning for 2025 and really excited to build even strong relationships with community groups and small and independent businesses this year. Exeter pride is the largest free pride event in the southwest ensuring all can come and join in our protest and celebration. exeter pride started 18 years ago and we are very proud of all of the hard work of the committee, trustees and volunteers over the years to ensure exeter pride continues to serve its community.
