Honest review of insidious: chapter 3 (2015) — breaking down scares, pacing, and if this horror film stands the test of time. So this was honestly a really good movie, what i really like bout the first three insidious movies is how the characters feel like real people and not actors on a screen, this movie's main theme is grief and depression and i feel like it handles it well. That one line pretty much sums up the plot of insidious: chapter 3, a far better than expected third entry into the franchise begun by james wan and leigh whannell back in 2010. Overall, insidious: chapter 3 is about as bland and uninteresting a modern horror film as we will likely see this year. from its over reliance on incredibly loud and nonsensical jump scares to its cookie cutter plot, there isn’t a lot of fun to be had here.
