Input: this is the frequency programmed into the radio to feed into the repeater which then relays out of the frequency sometimes used as a talk around, car to car, or simplex frequency to avoid the repeater in other words, a bypass around the repeater system. the frequency is the output repeater frequency to listen on.

I am new to all of 2 way radio and i am very confused from the website. on radioreference is rx the frequency and tx the input? please help, i am so confused. So that audio output from sdr# is piped to vc cable input. for now, try clicking stop on sdr# go into the audio tab of sdr# and for output, select vbcable. then click play . tune to the digital channel in sdr# and see if you get any movement on dsdplus. i have attached a screen grab showing sdr#, and the dsd modules. Guide to programming repeaters into a baofeng uv 5r i see a good bit of threads about how to program repeaters and so on lets start 1. power on your baofeng 2. hit the vfo memory button to enter "frequency mode"(vfo) 3. hit the menu button, enter the number 7. you will want to hit menu. You should be able to follow the components from the "rf input" connector, through the relay, and to that transistor. one half of that relay switches the input and the other half switches the output. the transistor below the relays is the receive pre amp. the bottom relay is used to switch the pre amp in and out. This subject came up on the bcd396t yahoo group. "when are the scanner manufacturers going to support inverted dpls?" well, the truth is they have since they started supporting dpls at all. every inverted dpl code is the same as a standard (non inverted) code. here is a 'chart' you can look up.
