Wednesday, 26 october 2016 simple twofer hi bloggers. heating fixed yay! i'm up at ce hq today running a couple of christmas workshops. it's going to be a good day! as the title suggests i have a twofer for you today. a couple of simple cards, great for batch making. here's the first. For the background, i embossed a piece of coconut white card using the creative expressions provencal lace embossing folder. i cut the largest die in the s pellbinders ornamental crest die set out of custard card. This is so simple to construct, using gilding flakes. you can swap the gilding flakes for glitter or any medium you like paints, pixie powders, misters, acetate backgrounds, printed background papers, anything!.

I then sprinkled cs silver mica powder over and used my fingers to spread it over the entire area. i scrunched up a piece of white tissue paper and added it to my background, pressing it down with a piece of kitchen roll.
