The Indigenous Science Experience Nisep Org Au Indigenous science conversations in national science week 2018 as part of national science week celebrations, hubs in the national environmental science program came together to host indigenous science conversations at questacon in canberra. Indigenous science, climate change, and indigenous community building: a framework of foundational perspectives for indigenous community resilience and revitalization. The results of the study propose four steps to integrate indigenous knowledge in the science curricula: fragmented, connected, sequenced, and integrated. this study indicates that indigenous knowledge incorporated in the science curricula includes attitude, knowledge, and skill aspects. Speakers discussed approaches to incorporating indigenous knowledge and values to climate science, biodiversity, urban planning, and freshwater and marine ecology. Employing an ethnographic method that integrates participant observation, interviews, and focus groups, i explore the contributions, ideas, points of view, and metaphors that individuals of indigenous origins introduce to the scientific method when they enter western scientific knowledge systems. Indigenous perspectives might provide insights into different views on environmental ethics and might enrich understanding of how to solve the increasingly complex problems of the 21st century.
