Imagining Futures We are a group of higher education researchers based in and around sydney who meet regularly. i've blogged about us before: a reminder to play, staying in place, yarning circle, and the spirit of research. This opening was designed to disrupt the usual analytical and impersonal academic discourse and invite the workshop participants into a different register for thinking and imagining what it might mean to be practising slow living and self care beyond accelerated academia.
