I installed the e3d hotend in a bowden configuration using the standard hypercube evolution x carriage. the thermistor uses a molex connector and extension cable. This document provides instructions for building a hypercube 3d printer using a ratrig frame kit. the key steps include assembling the frame, mounting the z axis and bed platform, installing the x y motors and idlers, mounting the x shafts and x carriage, and attaching the hotend and x endstop. The hypercube evolution by scott3d (commonly called "hevo") is a remix of the original design, adding a stronger 3030 outer frame, more options for x and y rail sizes, 12mm z rods for strength, a dual z screw option for larger beds, and a parametric design which scales up easier. While building my own hypercube, i chose parts i had on hand for the build and had to create modify designs.
