Hybrids Reptile Forums I’ve seen plenty of different types of hybrids and looked into them a bit, but the only thing i can find that seems like a legitimate concern is that people might try to sell them as something else, which seems more like a problem with the person rather than the reptile. Love hate for hybrids seems to depend on which little corner of the hobby you are looking at and also how far separated the two species genera are. chondro keepers have been hybridizing pretty much since the beginning, albeit inadvertently in the early days.
