Your 97k should shoot closer to 755 fps right out of the box. you may just have a leaky breach seal. weihrauch uses a seal that's hardened rather than the more commonly used o ring that's pliable. these seals may be damaged from the factory. use the "tissue test" to confirm a possible leak. It is like a independent rifle, you only require a fixed amount of force to arm it, a pellet and you're ready ! almost like a bow, almost pcp needs a bit more equipment but the convenience is a big plus once your bottle is filled. i'd make about 20 to 30 shots of an evening with a side springer but with pcp, i'd easily burn through a hundred. It's supposed to do this to stop the trigger moving when you have the breech open. if this is the problem, then it's easy to fix. if it's the spring, bend the broken end over, and hook it over the spring retaining lug, and that should fix the problem.
