Project Humanity Award winning charity outside in’s national open exhibition, which features 80 artworks on the theme of ‘humanity’, will be showing at project ability in glasgow from 12 august to 16 september 2023. ‘humanity’ is open at project ability until 16 sep. outside in's 6th national exhibition is the first to tour the uk showcasing 80 artworks by artists who encounter barriers to the art world.
Project Humanity Based in glasgow’s award winning trongate 103, they provide a welcoming arts community for people with learning disabilities and mental ill health. project ability provide the space and expertise to allow them to express themselves, build confidence and achieve their potential. Humanity project exists to build something new: assembly culture. it’s a way for us to listen to each other, make decisions together, and take action on the things that shape our lives. Programme of exhibitions at project ability, showcasing artwork by artists with learning disabilities and experience of mental ill health. Project ability's mission is to maximize the ability for families of children with disabilities to obtain exceptional education services, access community supports, connect with a supportive community, and raise disability awareness.
