The present study was a narrative review to understand the human resource management strategies used in the pre pandemic and pandemic periods and recommend strategies that can be used in the future. This article reviews the body of empirical work on human resource management in times of crisis, including that which was conducted prior to the covid 19 pandemic and that which has been published since the outbreak of the covid 19 pandemic.
